All reservations, stays, payments, cancellations, house rules, liability, and guest obligations are governed exclusively by Hygge Hill’s Rental Agreement, which is presented and accepted at the time of booking through OwnerRez, VRBO, or another authorized booking platform.

If there is any conflict between these Terms & Conditions and the Rental Agreement, the Rental Agreement controls.

2. Website Use

The Website is provided for informational and marketing purposes only. While we make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy, information on the Website — including pricing examples, availability, amenities, photos, descriptions, maps, and nearby attractions — may be incomplete, outdated, or subject to change at any time without notice.

The Website may contain typographical errors, technical inaccuracies, or omissions. Hygge Hill does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of Website content.

Use of the Website does not constitute a reservation, offer, or guarantee of availability.

3. Reservations and Bookings

Hygge Hill does not process reservations directly through this Website.

All bookings are completed through third-party platforms such as OwnerRez and VRBO. By making a reservation, you agree to the terms, policies, and Rental Agreement presented during the booking process on those platforms.

4. Rental Agreement Supremacy

All guests must review and accept the Hygge Hill Rental Agreement prior to confirming a reservation.

The Rental Agreement governs, without limitation:

  • Guest eligibility and occupancy limits

  • Payments, fees, and taxes

  • Cancellation and refund policies

  • Security deposits and damage responsibility

  • House rules and prohibited activities

  • Use of amenities (including hot tub, fire pit, and outdoor features)

  • Assumption of risk and indemnification

  • Governing law and dispute resolution

Nothing on this Website alters or replaces the Rental Agreement.

5. Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellation and refund terms are governed solely by the Rental Agreement and the booking platform used.

Any cancellation summaries displayed on the Website or in FAQs are provided for convenience only and are not legally binding.

6. Assumption of Risk (Website Notice)

Staying at a cabin property involves inherent risks, including uneven terrain, wildlife, weather conditions, and use of outdoor amenities.

All assumptions of risk and liability waivers are governed by the Rental Agreement, not by this Website.

7. Force Majeure

Hygge Hill shall not be liable for delays, cancellations, or interruptions caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to severe weather, natural disasters, power outages, road conditions, or government actions.

The Website may include links to or embedded services from third parties, including but not limited to OwnerRez, VRBO, Google Maps, and social media platforms.

Hygge Hill does not control these services and is not responsible for their content, availability, or policies. Use of third-party services is subject to their respective terms and privacy practices.
